Add just one banner image at the top of the portal or add multiple banner images between asset sections in a portal by clicking Change Image. Search for and select an image, crop it, and add a call to action button, and it'll be placed in the banner area. Drag it to the position that fits best.
Only images can be used in banners. You can use AI, EPS, GIF, JPG, PSD, or TIFF files. GIFs cannot be used. If you need to include more than one image in a banner, we recommend that you create a layered file first in Photoshop, then upload it as an asset to the Collective. We're looking into allowing layering of images in portal banner sections in the future.
Images that are 2048x512 pixels work best for banners; the height should be a minimum of 256 pixels. For banners to be most responsive, ensure that there's enough space all around the text and buttons in a smaller window - a window as small as 1280 pixels. The banner stops sizing down when the screen width is reduced to 1024 pixels, so be sure to resize the window to a smaller width to make sure spacing looks ok. We recommend placing text and buttons on the left side of the banner for the best user experience.
