We’re excited to launch version 9.7 of the Widen Collective in April 2016. With this release, you’ll have access to our new Quick Insights feature, which gives you lots of data about an asset at the asset level, as well as a number of other updates and enhancements. Find more information below about what you’ll see in 9.7. (Note that the release of Quick Insights has been delayed until the May 2016 release.)

Quick Insights

The new Quick Insights feature helps you and your colleagues in marketing or content creation answer important questions about your assets and helps you understand your content better.

Using Quick Insights, you can quickly see data about an individual asset, including how much the asset is being used, how it's being used, where it’s being viewed, and who is engaging with it outside the Widen Collective. These details can even be exported to analyze further. Use that knowledge to reuse and repurpose the most popular content for future promotional campaigns, blog posts, websites, videos - really, anywhere - or discover your most performant assets and share them with your team!

Quick Insights can be accessed from Quick View, the Asset Details page, or from the Insights app.

Note that Quick Insights is an extension of the Insights app. With Quick Insights, you can see what’s happening with an individual asset. With Insights, you can create charts to see how groups of assets are performing both on your site and beyond the Widen Collective.

New supported file type

SVG file formats are now supported in the Widen Collective. Upload SVG files, then download those assets into available conversion formats or share them with others.

Note that SVGs can only be downloaded to JPG conversion formats, but conversion formats can be added as needed. Contact the Widen Support Team to add conversion formats.
