If you have permission, you can create many types of charts using Insights site and engagement data in the Insights app. Instructions about creating charts for a couple specific events are below.


After you create a chart, select from the chart options in the upper right to see data in a different format.


Daily uploads

To track the number of assets uploaded each day:


  1. Select Uploads in the Select Source menu.
  2. Select Today in the date range.


Total assets in global collections

To see global collections that include the most number of assets:

  1. Select Assets in the Select Source menu.

  2. Update the date range, if desired. The date range will default to the last 30 days.

  3. Edit the Group By information and select Global Collection.


Intended use for downloads

To show intended use data for downloaded assets:

  1. Select Downloads in the Select Source menu.

  2. Update the date range, if desired. The date range will default to the last 30 days.

  3. Edit the Group By information and select Intended Use.

  4. Select either email address or intended use to group the data by.

  5. Click Add.


Top searches by search term

To determine the top searches by search term:

  1. Select Searches in the Select Source menu.
  2. Update the date range, if desired.
  3. Edit the Group by information and select Search Details.
  4. Select the value to group by. For searches, you can choose to group by the number of search results, search category, search location, search name, search terms, and search type.
  5. Click Add.

You can further filter by the same search details as above, except search terms cannot be filtered.

Downloads by device

Determine which devices - smartphones, tablets, PCs, etc. - people are using to download assets.

  1. Select Downloads in the Select Source menu.

  2. Group by Source Details. Choose to group by User on the x-axis.

  3. Filter by Browser Details, then choose Device Type.

  4. Choose the device(s) to filter by.

  5. Click Add.


Logins by device are determined the same way. Just select Logins in the Select Source menu and follow the steps above for grouping and filtering.
