The first thing users will see when they log into your Widen Collective site is the Dashboard. The Dashboard is the site's home page and a launchpad for discovering all the great content available to them. You can post welcome messages, brand guidelines, and other information to highlight your brand on the Dashboard, and users can search for and review asset activity and quickly upload assets.

Depending on a user's roles and permissions, they may see these areas:
- Dashboard system messages
- Spotlight searches
- Spotlight (global) collections
- An uploads zone
- An activity feed
- More search options
- Categories menu
- Collections menu
- Alerts and watched asset notifications
- An icon to access your user profile
More details about assets and their activities can be accessed from the Navigation menu in the upper left of the Dashboard. Access these pages for more details:
Return to the Dashboard from anywhere in the site by clicking the site logo, the Home icon, or by using the Navigation menu. Users can also use the Navigation menu to quickly access other pages in the site.
Rearrange zones on the Dashboard
Rearrange zones on the Dashboard by dragging and dropping them within their respective columns. That is, System Messages, Spotlight Collections, and Spotlight Categories zones can be rearranged with that column and Uploads and Activity Feed zones can be rearranged within that column.
When users log out and log back in to their browser, the zones will remain in their chosen location.
Rearrange within spotlight searches and spotlight collections
You can rearrange spotlight searches and spotlight collections within their respective zones on the Dashboard by dragging and dropping. Click the search or collection preview to drag it to the new location within the zone.
