This Saturday, Aug. 18, we’ll be releasing version 13.10 of the Widen Collective. We’re excited to bring the updates listed in this change history to you!
Clearer actions when you’re batch editing
A request we’ve heard from you is to make it more clear when you’re replacing and adding metadata during batch editing. Previously, the replace and add mode buttons were the same shade of gray, making it difficult to see which task you’re performing. Now, when you select one of the actions, the button will update to a darker gray color, allowing you to be sure that you’re selected the action you want. (Note that, by default, replace mode is selected.)
Cleaner panel for portal details
We’ve made some updates to align portal details with the layout you see in other areas of the Collective that include this information — namely replacing labels for details, sharing the portal, and analytics with clickable tabs and updating the header to be the portal’s title.
The issue with background colors for navigation section menus not saving has been resolved.
The issue with portals not previewing has been resolved.
The issue with embedded portals not displaying on websites has been resolved.
The issue with assets not displaying when you’re changing an image on a template has been resolved.
The retrieve asset by ID endpoint in version 2.0 of the API now offers an optional status to indicate when image embed previews become available immediately after assets have been uploaded.
