This month brings a new integration with Adobe CC and more updates and enhancements to the Widen Collective, Portals, and Workflow. Take a look to see what’s coming in our 11.0 release this Saturday, February 11!
Adobe CC Connector is now available!
The Adobe CC Connector is now an available integration in the Collective. With the Connector, you can open and edit assets from your site directly in InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop. New or updated versions can then be uploaded into the Collective directly from Adobe.
InDesign continues to allow dynamic linking to versioned assets in the Collective. If Widen support is needed, users can also directly access it (along with a number of other preferences) from the Connector.
Support articles about how to install and use the Connector will be avilable soon!
Mobile App Update
In the mobile app, you can now download single assets to your mobile device then open them in the app they were created in and save them to your camera roll.
Portals (Early Release)
Column Sections in Brand Portals
Add column sections in your brand portals to lay out additional information on your portal for your audience. Choose from a one- to four-column layout or choose a 1/3 + 2/3 or a 2/3 + 1/3 layout. After you’ve selected the layout, add text or images to each column, then format the text and crop the images for best presentation on your portal.
In a portal, undo the most recent action in sections, text areas, and banner images. When you perform an action in one of those locations and want to revert to the previous action, simply click “Undo” in the notification that displays and action will be undone. Delete the section or text area, or change the banner image.
Resolved Portals Issues
The issue with not being able to select an asset while in Quick View has been resolved.
The issue with blank sections displaying in public portals when collections are deleted from the Widen Collective has been resolved.
The issue with messaging not displaying for expired portals has been resolved.
Workflow (Early Release)
We’ve streamlined the way you create and route projects and have added a multi-stage workflow option. After you create a project, set up the workflow, add proofs, and route the project to reviewers in one or multiple stages with one or multiple rounds for each stage.
